Pipe laying
MSH offers two advanced pipelaying vessels to be utilized for offshore S-laying operation and all the requirements for pipelaying from shallow to 300m water depth and from 4 inches to 60 inches in pipe diameters could be accommodated by them. While PLB C-Master relies on an unbeatable track record of over 2500 Km in various sizes in different geographical locations in less than 10 years; DLV Oceanic 5000 manifests its head start by utilization of two modern double-joint stations leading to double lay rate than conventional vessels.
Both vessels take the advantage of Dynamic Positioning (DP) station keeping system enabling them to perform their operation safer and more precise in congested areas. This is invaluable in such precise operations since there is always a risk of damaging existing pipelines by anchors. In addition, anchoring is a time-consuming and complex operation which necessitates additional supporting Anchor Handling Tugs (AHT).
